Butler Snow attorneys Ashley Wicks and Danielle Roberts recently attended the groundbreaking ceremony for The Resurgent, a mixed-use development project led by the N.C. A&T University Real Estate Foundation and Cone Health. Butler Snow was involved in helping secure nearly 30% of the $32 million project through the use of New Market Tax Credits.

Butler Snow’s attorneys involved in the project include Ashley Wicks, Danielle Roberts, Kim Smith, Mark Hosemann, Blair Jussely, Will Russell and recently retired Butler Snow attorney Alveno Castillo.

The Resurgent is a mixed-use development that has been years in the making. While different from what was originally announced in fall 2021, the N.C. A&T Real Estate Foundation – along with Greensboro’s independent health system – is building a 54,000-square-foot, five-story building on East Market Street near Benbow Road.
